Yamaha FJR1300 is presented at the Cologne Motorcycle Show

Yamaha FJR1300 was introduced last Tuesday (2) at Intermot, (International Motorcycle, Scooter and Bicycle Fair or, as it is known here, Motorcycle Hall of Cologne) which takes place in Germany, and had their first day meant only for the press.  The model developed for long journeys, includes traction control, electronic throttle, and two power modes options, a more sporty and another milder. The bike has two versions, FJR1300A and FJR1300AS (most equipped model).Another novelty in 2013 is the electronic version of the suspensions.

The engine of this machine is a tetracilíndrico of 1,298 cm³ with ability to generate 146 horsepower and 14.1 lbf·ft of torque. Made for large displacements, the model has a tank that can take up to 25 liters of fuel.Yamaha FJR1300 weighs 289 kg (in running order) in the (standard), and 296 kg, in the. Its design has undergone some changes to improve the aerodynamics and the front bubble accountwith electronic adjustments.
